Description

Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Real Estate Compliance Specialist. This is a hybrid role requiring two office days in Houston, TX. The Real Estate Compliance Specialist is a subjectmatter expert responsible for overseeing and governing all aspects of the home sale program to ensure policy compliance, risk mitigation, and consistent execution across U.S. and Canadian markets. This individualcontributor role serves as the primary decision authority for home sale eligibility, valuation reviews, and transactional audits, while providing expert guidance, escalation support, and training to Mobility Advisors.

This role partners closely with internal teams, brokers/agents, appraisers, and inspectors to drive highquality outcomes, reduce exceptions, and improve overall home sale performance, while maintaining compliance with client policy, Weichert standards, and industry best practices.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Program Governance & Risk Management



  • Serves as the primary decision authority for home sale program eligibility determinations in accordance with client policy and Weichert guidelines.
  • Reviews and approves Broker Market Analyses (BMAs), ensuring pricing recommendations align with market conditions and program standards.
  • Evaluates and resolves appraisal disputes, inspection findings, and repair satisfaction issues, providing clear, welldocumented determinations.
  • Audits offer acquisitions, and transactional documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Identifies trends, risks, and recurring issues within the home sale program and recommends corrective actions.
  • Reviews and audits equity statements and other related financial benefits-including COLA payments, bridge loans, subsidies, and equity advances-for accuracy and compliance.
  • Functions as a secondary acquisition audit lead for highvalue properties ($1M+).


Advisory Support & Escalation Management



  • Acts as a required escalation partner for Mobility Advisors on complex, highrisk, or exceptiondriven home sale cases.
  • Provides expert guidance to Mobility Advisors throughout the home sale lifecycle, including policy interpretation and risk considerations.
  • Liaises with real estate brokers and agents to resolve valuation, marketing, and transaction issues.


Inventory Management



  • Provides endtoend oversight of client home sale inventory.
  • Analyzes market conditions and recommends pricing and disposition strategies to minimize days on market while maximizing financial outcomes.
  • Ensures supplier performance and accountability to support timely and compliant inventory disposition.


Training & Enablement



  • Trains and coaches Mobility Advisors on home sale policies, procedures, eligibility requirements, and best practices.
  • Develops and delivers targeted technical and business training and reference materials to improve consistency, accuracy, and advisor confidence.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to home sale processes and advisor enablement.


Program Performance & Continuous Improvement



  • Partners with CX leadership to support program optimization initiatives, technology, including improved audit outcomes and reduced exception volume.
  • Supports home purchase opportunities as needed, providing advisory guidance and risk assessment.
  • Contributes to documentation, SOP development, and governance frameworks related to home sale operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Education, Certification, and License Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Active or prior real estate license preferred
  • Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation preferred


Experience



  • Minimum five (5) plus years of experience managing mobility home sale programs, real estate transactions, or related governance roles
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing valuations, appraisals, inspections, and real estate transactions


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Proven ability to make independent, high impact decisions in complex scenarios
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian residential real estate practices, valuation methods, and market dynamics
  • Deep understanding of mobility home sale programs, policy interpretation, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent judgment, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Collaborative and approachable, leveraging expertise to support others
  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to perform data validation, analysis, and reporting
  • Recognized as a highly proficient user of Weichert Go, with deep knowledge of system workflows and data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders
  • Ability to balance risk management with customer experience outcomes
  • High attention to detail and comfort auditing transactional data
  • Embraces and encourages the use and advancement of technology
