The firm is seeking an HR Operations Assistant with a primary focus on the administration and coordination of employee leaves of absence across the Firm's U.S. offices.

This is a non-exempt position that provides administrative and operational support related to medical leave, Paid Family Leave (PFL), and other leave of absence processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional seeking to develop experience within a collaborative and service-oriented environment. The position is hybrid and requires regular in-office presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the administration and coordination of employee leaves of absence, including medical, (FMLA), and state (PFL) programs.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain leave documentation, medical certifications, and claim forms, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, firm policies, and required timelines.
  • Coordinate leave administration processes across the Firm's multiple U.S. office locations.
  • Track requests and manage documentation, communications, and deadlines.
  • Ensure completed forms and documentation are properly submitted to relevant internal stakeholders and external administrators.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee leave records in accordance with firm policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with leave data entry, document preparation, and records management.
  • Provide general administrative support to and assist with departmental initiatives, projects, and additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent administrative experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe/PDF tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a law firm, professional services, or a service-oriented environment.
  • Experience supporting leave administration, benefits administration, including FMLA, state Paid Family Leave (PFL), disability leave, or related employee leave processes strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with an HRIS systems; Workday preferred but not required.
  • Multi-state leave administration exposure or supporting employees across multiple office locations is a plus.
