HDR is seeking a CEI Project Administrator to join our Florida CEI Group on-site in Orlando, Florida. The CEI Project Administrator oversees construction projects, manages documentation, coordinates inspections, ensures compliance with contracts and specifications, and supports project managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards Primary Responsibilities
- Receiving general instructions regarding assignments and exercising initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems.
- Directing and assigning specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assisting in all phases of the construction project.
- Progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project duration.
- Oversight of field staff on CEI projects
- Assist in materials sampling and testing tracking in MAC
- Daily work reports review/approval in PRC
- Assisting in generating monthly pay estimate
- Assisting in shop drawing and plans reviews
- Assisting in pursuit of projects
- Coordinate and hold project progress meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering
- Professional Engineering License
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
- Previous FDOT or Florida Turnpike experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to construction contracts; document, time, cost, and quality management; change management; and site safety. estimating, bidding, preparing and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
- Must have strong people skills and the ability to interact with the Owner, Engineer, Contractor and other project stakeholders
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
