Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)DC Location: Erie, PA 16507 Duration: Long Term Shift: 3rd Shift - 22:45PM - 07:15AM Job Description: Provides nursing care and treatment for individuals with mental illness, physical injury, behavioral issues, or developmental disabilities in a facility setting. Leads and coordinates care delivery, usually on evening/night shifts. Delivers direct patient care or manages specialty areas (e.g., infection control, quality improvement). Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans. Directs nursing care across units/wards. Manages staffing, supplies, and equipment needs. Supervises nursing aides and support staff. Ensures proper service coordination, coverage, and record-keeping. Creates and evaluates care plans. Coordinates with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams. Provides hands-on nursing care and treatments. May oversee specialized programs (infection control, risk management, etc.). Work is assigned via oral/written instructions, requiring independent clinical judgment. Performance is reviewed by supervisors (Registered Nurse Supervisor, physician, or dentist) for quality and compliance. Nurses must demonstrate competency in a wide range of clinical skills, including. IV therapy and injections. Patient assessments and vital signs monitoring. Wound care, infection control, and specimen collection. Use of medical equipment (ventilators, infusion pumps, oxygen devices, etc.). Requirement: RN active license. BLS/CPR.
