Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details: Mercy St Louis Hospital RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) Who We Are: The Main Operating Room is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center, providing surgical care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. We have 27 Operating Rooms with 7 specialty teams, including general surgery, gynecologic surgery, urologic surgery, robotics, ENT, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery. We have 4 state-of-the-art robots at Mercy. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensure: Active RN licensure in the state of practice. Experience: Must have a minimum of 1-year perioperative nursing experience. Certifications: Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association. Other: Demonstrates continued competence in assisting and in perioperative nursing. Preferred: CNOR certification and/or RN-First Assistant certification class preferred Why Mercy?
