The Job

This position provides paralegal, contracting, and administrative support to the Legal Department. The
successful candidate will be detail-oriented and can work autonomously in a fast-past environment on a
variety of assignments and projects with the ability to prioritize. The paralegal must possess a strong
drive for excellence, attention to detail, good judgment, an ability to adapt to change, and a "can do"
positive attitude.

You Will

Review, edit, draft, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, regulatory filings, and
correspondence.
Assist in the development and improvement of forms, templates, department-wide business
processes, and policies and procedures.
Maintain multiple matters organized by triaging priorities, monitoring and updating status,
documenting actions, tracking deadlines, maintaining logs, and preparing reports.
Exercise independent problem-solving techniques to resolve administrative problems; proactively
follow up on pending matters; work well as a team player with key business units through
transparent and frequent communication.
Coordinate and prepare meetings with internal and external clients. Responsibilities may include
agenda preparation, note taking, virtual or physical room set up, general logistics, development of
training materials and guides, and delivery of training to ensure a smooth participation experience.
Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all matters.
Work collaboratively with other departments and outside counsel.
Employ a champion's mindset with respect to taking ownership and responsibility with respect to
assigned tasks and projects; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Serve as one of the contract management system administrators, utilizing the legal matter and
contract management systems. Lead and/or assist with project management for Legal Department
projects.
Contribute to the team effort by performing other tasks and general administrative support as
needed.

Your Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited program (J.D. degree also accepted).
  • 5+ of experience working with attorneys as a paralegal in a law firm or in an in-house
    legal department.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using CLM platforms and familiarity with managing contracts from intake and
    negotiation to execution and renewal/termination.
  • Experience with legal technology, such as matter management and contract lifecycle management
    systems, e-discovery tools, and others (preferred).
  • Proactive and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and
    demands.
  • Strong organization skills; detail-oriented and ability to work with precision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Technical expertise - Strong technical skills for functional area
  • Problem Solving - Basic problem solving skills
  • Communication - Good communication and interpersonal skills
