We are actively looking for a Contracts Reviewer to join our legal department. This position supports the Legal Department and overall organization by performing contract review and the organization and management of related documents and materials. This position works closely with Lead Counsel, Contracts and Procurement, and the Contract Specialist.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze federal, state and other contracts and agreements assigned
  • Assist with the overall contract review process and procedures
    • Maintain and update contract review log
    • Assist in timely response to review requests
    • Update materials and information on company intranet (BOB)Familiarity with relevant federal, state, local affecting the interpretation of A-E contracts
  • Organize, manage and maintain a file system for contracts and related issues
  • Manage the Legal Department Shared File Folder, including all electronic data
  • Research and address various issues
  • Answer questions, resolve escalated issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; required
  • 3-5 yrs of experience in contract review and/or contract administration; required
  • Paralegal certification; preferred
  • Experience with business protocol to communicate / consult with team members, clients and management
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Ethical and principled
  • Proactive
  • Willing to learn on the job
  • Fair and diligent
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and efficient
  • Strong convictions and the willingness to stand by difficult decisions
  • Excellent time management, decision making, human relations, and organizational skills

Working conditions:

This position is situated in an office environment. Light or occasional travel may be required.
