Responsibilities

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $77,900 - $153,000 per year plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

As a Retirement Plan Sales Advisor, you'll be at the forefront of expanding our retirement plan advisory business in a dynamic and growing market. You'll leverage both the bank's existing client relationships and your own network to identify, develop, and close new ERISA plan opportunities. Your expertise will help employers design plans that attract and retain talent, while ensuring compliance and maximizing participant outcomes. This is a role where your consultative approach and entrepreneurial drive will directly shape our growth trajectory.

Key Accountabilities

    Partner with bank relationship managers, commercial lenders, and wealth advisors to identify cross-sell opportunities for retirement plan advisory services.
  • Self-source new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and referral development.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments with business owners, CFOs, and HR leaders to design tailored ERISA-compliant retirement plan solutions.
  • Present proposals and deliver compelling plan recommendations that align with client goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to position our services as best-in-class.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM to support forecasting and reporting.
  • As necessary, serve as an ongoing relationship manager to select clients to ensure robust client retention.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; 3-5 years of experience in ERISA retirement plan sales, consulting, or advisory roles.
  • FINRA Series 65 (or 66) licenses preferred; ASPPA or other retirement plan designations a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of plan design, fiduciary responsibilities, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to build trust quickly with business leaders and decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline to self-source opportunities while maximizing internal referral channels.
