Your Opportunity

TechSource is hiring a full-time Program Analyst to support the Defense Fuels Program and its nuclear deterrence mission with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs, NA-192.2. You'll work with a team and, as a programmatic liaison, to the national security laboratories and nuclear weapon production facilities who are engaged in managing technical work to modernize our nuclear stockpile. You'll work a hybrid schedule with onsite work at Department of Energy's (DOE) Forrestal building in downtown DC (onsite work 3 days/remote work up to 2 days weekly).

Primary Responsibilities


  • Support a dynamic research and development portfolio focused on novel centrifuge technology, providing technical guidance, oversight, and coordination across all development stages, including deployment.
  • Interface and collaborate with technical oversight groups, subject matter experts, and national laboratory partners to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for centrifuge technology deployment and the advancement of associated infrastructure at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
  • Present comprehensive updates on project activities, technical requirements, and current statuses to stakeholders, including internal leadership and external partners.
  • Identify and proactively report on technical challenges, potential risks, and emerging issues throughout the centrifuge technology development lifecycle.
  • Maintain and leverage expertise in relevant centrifuge technologies, R&D methodologies, and project management tools to inform deliverables and drive program success.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and innovation within the centrifuge R&D program, ensuring all plans and processes meet performance, schedule, quality, cost, and security requirements.
  • Some travel will be required (20% or less).
  • Active DOE Q security clearance.
  • Master's degree or PhD in science, engineering or a related field. PhD in progress will also be considered for this role.
  • 1 or more years of DOE/NNSA program or project management experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
