Title: Regulatory Analyst

Duration: 6-9 months

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Hershey, PA)

Shift: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Department: QRC - Regulatory

Job Description:

Regulatory Analyst would be responsible for reviewing basic regulatory information to ensure accuracy between labelled products and online content. Position requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, data validation, and time management. Individual would also be responsible for tracking discrepancies and working with internal leadership and our 3rd party vendor to ensure continuous improvement in data quality.

Main Duties:

  • Review and proofread online regulatory information to ensure consistency with on-pack label information.
  • Apply analytical thinking to interpret data patterns and trends and logical reasoning to assess data integrity.
  • Utilize data validation techniques to cross-check between different data sources, using both automated and manual review processes.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate review of all information.
  • Document any inconsistencies and perform analyses on trends and issues for escalation to leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.



Typical Day:

Online review of Regulatory information and Product images to online web-based information to ensure accurate translation of material. Data management, including the logging of errors or discrepancies and analysis of trends for escalation to leadership. Communication with Regulatory teams to ensure accurate representation of all products online.

  • Can you walk me through your process for validating product information across multiple data sources?
  • Describe a time when you identified a discrepancy between a product label and its online representation. How did you resolve it?
  • What tools or systems have you used for data validation and regulatory review?
  • How do you ensure consistency between on-pack labeling and digital content?



Must Haves (i.e., years of experience?):

  • 1-3 years experience



Software Skills and Purpose (if applicable): Ability to manage multiple sources of information online

Industry Experience: Food Industry - Regulatory or Food Science

Targeted Candidate Background: Food Industry
