Responsibilities

This role requires full time travel to various locations with the Airfoils segment. Travel could include Dover, NJ, Morristown TN, Whitehall, MI and Acuna Mexico.

Job Role

  • Sustainability support--understands plant and enterprise level strategy and prioritizes projects accordingly; creates follow up plans, provides support and accountability to ensure adoption and independent implementation
  • Educational implementer--conducts planned events and responds to operational needs to create efficiencies that support strategies; manages projects and events efficiently and maximizes allocation of resources under time pressure
  • Business acumen--creates compelling business case for events and interventions; understands and communicates the "why" behind efforts; measures success based on business performance
  • Analysis and synthesis--seeks first to listen and understand; determines root cause with contributions from others; translates based on observation and input
  • Influence--compels others without direct authority; provides business case and data-driven justification for events; appreciates the use of other leaders' resources and people, holds those things in trust; creates a favorable brand for HBS and CI
  • Coach--helps others grow their capability; motivated by teaching and improvement
  • Creativity and innovation--challenges the status quo; networks internally to gather information; offers ideas and potential solutions based on observation and direct feedback from operators and supervisors

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the business for effective and efficient implementation of HBS to employees and managers.
  • Assess and diagnose problems from a process, quality, and cultural/people perspective
  • Design and prioritize the development plan and metrics for closing the gap of current and target business change
  • Teach and coach during execution of plan to help create a self-sufficient and continuous improvement culture.
  • Work on HBS projects to increase productivity, capacity, and yield.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 year's experience in program management and training
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience
