Completes contract assignments for all phases of contractual undertakings. Typically handles smaller, less complex contracts. Understands and applies a thorough knowledge of the principles governing the business terms and conditions of contracts being negotiated. Contract specialists are also responsible for successfully managing contract changes post-award. This involves analyzing and responding to contractor correspondence in such a manner so as to not eviscerate the Client's rights and remedies under the contract. It also involves developing claims defense strategies and engaging Legal resources as required to implement such strategies. In some cases, Worley is engage to manage contracts on behalf of the client. In those situations, Worley contract professionals need to closely collaborate with the appropriate Client representatives to successfully manage such contracts.

Additional Technical

Information Identify, solicit and select reliable contractors to supply consultant, specialty and construction services to support project execution. Negotiate terms & conditions, prepare contracts, monitor contractor performance and delivery of services to meet objectives. Provide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensure the required services to Worley and its clients.

Able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to Worley business operations. Decisions are typically based on extensive business acumen and seasoning and results achieved enhance the intellectual capital of Worley and affects its overall capability.

Decision Making Proactively sets priorities related to complex situations having multi-project and/or organizational impact. Contributions are primarily technical rather than managerial. May be involved in guiding strategies.

Supervision Received Works with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Influence over duties. Work is assigned only in terms of broad objectives to be accomplished, and is reviewed for policy, soundness of approach and general effectiveness. Work is reviewed to ensure conformity with policy and for coordination of other company departments.

Supervision Authority Provide technical guidance to staff and may assign work. Reviews work for technical accuracy and adequacy. Plans, controls & reports on project work. May have direct reports and may make recommendations concerning selection, training, rating and discipline of staff.

Communication Seasoned ability to inform and persuade on complex matters comes from recognition as subject matter expert. Utilized on complex and difficult problems.

Systems, Processes &

Tools Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.

Typical Qualifications University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically 10+ years relevant experience. Recognized as a specialist, providing consultation to others.
