CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our Manufacturing Team in Fort Washington, PA. In this role, you will support the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems for advanced manufacturing and industrial facilities-helping clients optimize operations, enhance system performance, and meet demanding production requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work on technically sophisticated projects while continuing to build depth and versatility in your engineering career.



What You'll Do:

    Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for manufacturing and industrial facility projects
  • Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership
  • Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices to support safe, efficient, and reliable mechanical systems
  • Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve operational issues and minimize impacts to project schedules and client operations
  • Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including site and field assignments as needed


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • Strong working and theoretical knowledge in mechanical engineering with the ability to apply concepts to real world industrial and manufacturing environments
  • Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, AutoDesk, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$95,000 - $105,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
