We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:

  • Use their compounding skills to prepare medications for our patients at UW Cancer Center - Johnson Creek
  • Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records.
  • Have the ability to work independently, be highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have sterile hazardous and/or non-hazardous compounding knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
