The Quality Operations Intern will work directly with site Quality leaders to strengthen how quality performance is measured, analyzed, and improved across all shifts and sites. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world operations in a regulated manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), data analysis, and continuous improvement. The intern will assess current quality metrics, gather frontline feedback, analyze trends and root causes, and help translate insights into prioritized, high-impact improvement initiatives. By the end of the internship, the intern will have contributed measurable improvements while developing analytical, critical thinking, and Quality Operations skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Assess current quality metric tracking processes for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness across all sites and shifts. Develop data trending and root cause analysis skills to identify recurring issues and systemic performance gaps. Collect and analyze cross-site and cross-shift feedback to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Compile a structured and prioritized list of improvement opportunities based on data and employee input. Partner with Quality leadership to prioritize and support execution of the top three process improvements. Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all job functions. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisors or project leads. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. The hiring rate for this position is $20/hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
