Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate). Required Qualifications
One year full time inpatient Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experienceActive Registered Nurse licensure in the State of CaliforniaActive American Heart Association CPR CertificationProficiency in laparoscopic surgeryProficiency in circulating dutiesThe flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locationsExcellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure.Basic computer keyboard skills and general PC knowledge.


Preferred Qualifications
Strong scrub experienceGeneral Surgery, Ortho, Neuro experienceSpecialty Certification - CNORBSN

Required Qualifications

  • One (1) year of full-time inpatient Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience
  • Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery
  • Proficiency in circulating duties
  • Flexibility to orient and work across all UCSF Health locations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and work independently in a high-pressure environment
  • Basic computer keyboard skills and general PC proficiency

Licensure and Certifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong scrub experience
  • Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, and/or Neurosurgery
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
