WORK SHIFT DAY (United States of America)SUMMARY OF DUTIES Under close supervision, assists with the handling of hazardous materials.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED 1. Follows procedures with exactness to assist with labeling of hazardous materials. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS * Lifting -- Not to exceed 50 lbs. - local practice may apply. SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with one year of previous related experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Environmental waste management and compliance experience. COMPETENCIES * Hazardous waste compliance COMMENTS Infectious Control Risk Category II: The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs. Risk category II states employment and procedures that may require exposure.
