Job Title: CDL Driver - Class A/ Class B Duration: 3 Months (Temp to hire) Are you comfortable with 3 months contract to permanent hire duration? Location: Brighton MI 48116 Payrate: $31/hour on w2 without benefits Shift: 1st 6:30 am to 3: 00pm Note: Must have a Valid CDL (A/B) License. Do you have a clean MVR record (no points/accidents on license)? Must be open to packing and loading their truck- however, there are pallet jacks and forklifts available. Do you have an experience with Forklift/Pallets jack? Job Description: The main function of a CDL driver is to drive and operate vehicles that require a class B CDL license. This role is directly involved in all phases of customer delivery, inventory management, and customer interaction. Pick up and transport goods and cargo to predetermined destinations. Assist with loading and unloading of cargo. Track and report working hours. Pre and Post inspection of the assigned vehicle each day for mechanical and safety issues. Report any incidents encountered on the road, and follow accident procedures if an accident occurs. Maintain logs if required (paper or electronic). Fork lift experience. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A/B CDL License (without any major infractions). Driver needs to be forklift certified, as all trucks have rear mounted forklifts (Moffitts). 2-4 years' experience.
