The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Responsible for establishing and maintaining on-going lines of communication between community physicians and the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), and the RWJUH medical staff. This includes developing, managing and supporting relationships, coordinating and disseminating information about RWJUH, acting as a key resource for internal and external physicians as well as identifying new business opportunities with referring physicians. Candidate will be equally responsible for establishing a high level of customer service by facilitating referrals, providing information on new clinical programs and services, clinical trials and the introduction of new faculty.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's required
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry, specifically in the area of corporate partnerships and physician relationships
  • 8+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field

Preferred:

  • Masters Degrees in related field preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift- 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Monday -Friday
  • Full Time/ Day

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct on-site visits with physicians in person to promote and sell RWJUH services,
  • Generate sales opportunities by calling into physician offices and healthcare organizations,
  • Promote RWJUH service lines; deliver branded messages; execute planned programs
  • Serve as the communication channel between referring physicians and RWJUH administration & clinical/executive leadership to provide issue resolution support and enhance the lines of communication
  • Participate in health fairs, conventions training programs and other events
  • Utilize creativity to identify and develop other promotional
  • opportunities/initiatives
  • Collaborate with physician relations team members to increase referrals in team members' assigned territories and service lines by sharing successful/unsuccessful tactics or resolutions and brainstorming possible solutions
  • Organize/participate in staff outreach program function in the evening and occasionally weekends as necessary,
  • Experience in designing partnership structures, negotiating terms, and aligning contract agreements to map to business objectives
  • Identify physician referral opportunities within the medical community through research and prospecting
  • In coordination with Marketing, establish outreach strategies to corporations in and around Hudson County to establish learning and supportive services for leaders and employees of those corporations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making and set strategy
  • Ability to balancing multiple competing priorities, stay organized, and focused on achieving the most important objectives
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills
