Principal, Prod Mgt Advertiser

We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead predictive planning and recommendation experiences that help advertisers make smarter budget, bidding, and growth decisions through scalable MLdriven forecasting. This role owns endtoend product strategy across data, models, and UX, with opportunities to evolve the experience into agentic, LLMpowered workflows that proactively guide advertisers from insight to action. You will operate at product and platform scale, translating complex signals and uncertainty into clear recommendations that drive measurable advertiser outcomes.

• Product Leadership: Develop and communicate the strategy and roadmap forplanning & recommendationproductsacross Microsoft's ad ecosystem.
• Customer Advocacy: Represent the product to customers, deeply understand their needs, and champion those needs internally.
• Execution & Decision-Making: Navigate ambiguity, make tough prioritization decisions, and drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
• Communication & Collaboration: Partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive product outcomes.
• Data & AI Innovation: Collaborate with Data Science and ML teams toleverageinsights and models that power forecasting, scenario planning, and actionable recommendations for advertisers,while upholding responsible use of data and brand trust at scale.
• Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead go-to-market efforts with marketing and sales, ensuring product launches drive adoption, transparency, and measurable advertiser impact.
• Industry Leadership:EstablishMicrosoft as a leader in responsible advertising by shaping internal practices and influencing industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
• 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
• 8+years experiencedisrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
• 5+ years experience developing digital advertising products, especially on the demand/buying side platform.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
