Our custom work spans multiple industries and we pride ourselves on craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a handson Fabrication Manager to lead our shop operations and help take our team and processes to the next level. Position Summary The Fabrication Manager is responsible for overseeing all fabrication operations, including scheduling, quality, safety, and team leadership. This role blends strategic planning with daytoday shop management and requires someone who enjoys being on the floor, mentoring employees, and driving results in a custom, lowtomid volume environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all employees in the Fabrication Departments Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Requires a bachelor's degree and one to two years related experience; or two years of college and three to five years of progressively responsible related experience; or four years of high school and seven to ten years of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Manufacturing Software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
