As a Quality Inspector II, you'll play a critical role in ensuring precision, compliance, and consistency across in-process and final products. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in getting the details right. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure product compliance Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and customer certification requirements Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 Use measurement tools and equipment (including CMM) to verify tolerances Support production teams in maintaining ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO13485 standards Inspect incoming parts from outside vendors Train and mentor junior inspectors and support team development Assist with audits, compliance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment Strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5) Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment (CMM preferred) Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO13485 standards Experience with systems such as Mie Trak and SolidWorks preferred Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to multitask WHAT PROTOTEK OFFERS: Health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance Company paid life and long-term disability insurance 9 paid Holidays annually Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) match: 100% of 3% and 50% for 4% and 5% Education reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities Flexible Schedule Competitive pay scale Paid time off (PTO) starting at 80 hours with annual increase for each year of service WORK AUTHORIZATION WORDING Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements - Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
