Job Title: Sensory Evaluator I Supervisor/Manager: The position reports to the QC Supervisor Cost Center Name and #: QC 10297 % Travel required: <1% Location: Carrollton Date: 8/11/2025 Summary: Briefly state the primary purpose of this position. Performs sensory evaluations of raw materials, intermediate and finished products, making pass/fail decisions while working independently and on a team with other Sensory Evaluators. Key Responsibilities: The critical responsibilities for this position. Any responsibilities which are less than 5% of the job are not included. Evaluates product, raw materials and finished goods, according to specified taste methods and determines acceptability (50%) Manages, prepares, and administers one or more structured customer specific sensory programs. Communicate results and work together with Creative team (15%) Operates, maintains, and organizes sensory programs and data (10%) Maintain retain and Gold Standard libraries (10%) Assist in the investigation of root cause as issues arise (5%) Perform Analytical testing as needed (5%) Customer communication for Shelf Life and Recertifications. Education, Certifications, Qualifications, Training. Degree in Chemistry/Biology/Food Science or related field with 1-3 years of previous experience in the food industry. Technical degree and/or experience is a sufficient replacement for educational degree. Skills & Ability

Additional Information Must be able to taste and smell a variety of products. The employee will have a desk to perform data analysis, statistical reviews, and other types of correspondences. The sensory evaluations will be conducted in a lab, tasting up to 250-300 samples per day. Panels will be conducted in a room with tasing booths, with the preparations being done in a lab. No dietary restrictions or allergies. General physical demands - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling - 25kg~50kg.
