How You'll Contribute:



The Manager - Quality Assurance is a dynamic role focused on fostering collaboration and support within the team. In addition to ensuring operational quality, velocity, and efficiency, the role emphasizes team building and mentorship to maximize the potential of every team member. As the Senior Manager - Quality Assurance over ESS Project Services, you will collaborate closely with the extended project team members aligning ESS Project Services with client and business unit needs. You will serve as a mentor, providing guidance, support, and feedback to empower team members in their skill development and career advancement. Team building activities and effective communication will create an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute their best. By enforcing standards and processes, prioritizing root cause analysis and cross functional process improvement, you will drive project success.



While this job is virtual day-to-day, travel up to 25% is required within the region the role supports: Southern Virginia. As such, candidates must reside in - or be willing to relocate to - that region.



What You'll Do:




  • Training - Termination, mechanical, client interface and other aspects of Diversified installation standards.
  • First point of escalation for Field Issues.
  • Verification and enforcement for onsite performance and productivity standards, providing feedback for reviews and training plans.
  • Conduct QAQC reports for projects on a monthly basis, and subsequently discuss the report in follow up project meetings to assign tasks to team members on outstanding deliverables.
  • Provide onsite support for integration issues.
  • Adheres to Standards and Governance in development and deployment for Installation processes.
  • Assist in developing growth plans for both process and delivery staff to help ensure long-term success.
  • Helps develop and ensures compliance in Quality Assurance program.
  • Responsible for site activities related to Safety, Quality Control, and ISO fulfillment.
  • Provide scissor lift/boom lift/fall protection training to the appropriate staff that need them.
  • Final verification of preparedness for site activities.
  • Site Surveys for projects and sales support.
  • Site verification for commissioning readiness.
  • Collaborates with relevant team representatives to focus effort and further streamline activities throughout the project life cycle.
  • Onsite point for customer escalation and the face of Diversified during the implementation phase.
  • Oversight of employee's subcontractors at any given time.
  • Review, analyze, and make key decisions that positively impact the project within budgetary constraints.
  • Review, produce, and inspect reporting standards for compliance and consistency.
  • Mentorship and team building.
  • Instruct/advise on Diversified Academy activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.



What You'll Bring:



Education & Certifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED



Required Skills/Qualifications:




  • 3+ years' experience in commercial construction trades and settings
  • 3+ years' experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
  • Proficient in MS tools such as excel, word, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to set the tone at job sites.
  • Proficient planning abilities for pre-installation preparations and materials coordination.
  • Efficient labor management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong communication skills for 360-degree stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in documentation management and scope adherence.
  • Prioritization of safety and quality in project execution.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time is required
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in their state of residence.
  • Climb and work off ladders, elevated platforms lift 30lbs
