| Brief Summary of Work for this Position |
The Department of Accountancy and Business Law (
ABL) is looking to hire multiple Academic Coaches for Summer 1 and Summer 2 of 2026. The Academic Coaches will support students enrolled in fully online, asynchronous summer courses. These positions will hold regularly scheduled office hours (in person and on Zoom) and respond to students' email requests for assistance. Academic Coaches will coordinate with the faculty supervisor to support course development and activities as requested.
Appointments will be for 10 or 20 hours per week, with the specific number of hours determined at the time of appointment. Academic Coaches will have a block of 2-3 hours, twice per week (Monday-Thursday) in Accountancy and Business Law office for regularly scheduled office hours or in Zoom room. These times will be determined with faculty supervisor
Remainder of time working remotely on student assistance, coordinating with faculty supervisor, and other tasks

Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an Accountancy concentration from
UNCW
