Purpose of the Job


HH Global has successfully secured a great opportunity with one of the top global sports brands. Our client, a renowned sports fashion retailer, is expanding in the ever-evolving retail landscape and this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join HH Global. You will be working closely with the client, suppliers and internal contacts to deliver services to our customers professionally, to specification and on time. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service through excellent customer service and product delivery. You will develop and maintain a strong relationship with key client stakeholders at all levels and you will propose and deliver all company solutions.


The Account Manager is required to remain in contact with both suppliers and clients and is responsible for taking ownership of the relationships and developing them further. The Account Manager is required negotiate costings and timescales for each job and selecting the most appropriate supplier. The areas of spend under management with this Retail client are Print + Permanent Point of Sale Materials (POSM) solutions - store fixtures & fittings.


This will be a hybrid position based in Portland, Oregon between the client and the HHG office.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide technical input and advice on print projects as required.
  • Take client briefs, gather full specifications, confirm deadlines, and manage projects end-to-end.
  • Recommend innovative solutions and alternative production options.
  • Create detailed specifications for internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Brief suppliers clearly to ensure accurate delivery of client requirements.
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer service and communication.
  • Monitor all projects to ensure they meet specifications, budgets, timelines, and SLAs.
  • Record activity accurately using designated company systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and maintain strong knowledge of HH Global services.
  • Support team tasks including presentations, reporting, account admin, and procedural updates.
  • Ensure full commercial accountability, including budget management, P+L oversight, invoicing, and profitability optimization.
  • Ensure compliance, manage business objectives, maintain customer satisfaction, and attend required meetings or site visits (including out-of-hours when necessary).


Knowledge, Skills + Experience



  • Strong account management experience in contracted environments with strict SLAs and KPIs.
  • Proven client-facing experience, confident in managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Skilled in advising on retail fixtures and print/digital campaign solutions, including POS concepts.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting project issues and implementing preventative solutions.
  • Leadership or team management experience is desirable.
  • Commercially astute with strong numeracy and business understanding.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent prioritization.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
  • Project-management mindset with a process-driven approach and focus on business development.
  • Confident, approachable, and capable of contributing advice in meetings.
  • Competent in communicating with stakeholders to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps preferred.
  • Client facing experience in a similar account management position.
  • Retail client experience.
  • Experience of retail fixtures and print/digital campaign solutions, including POS concepts.

For Portland based applicants: The US base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
