In the role of Landscape Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
- Work under the direction of registered Landscape Architect to assist in development of site design projects, from concept design to construction documentation
- Understand that assignments have specified objectives and require investigation of many variables, including site analysis, building operation, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, site grading and storm drainage
- Conduct site visits and analyses, and assist the project Landscape Architect with illustration of design using combination of hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics
- Provide AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree -
Proficiency with AutoCAD+LandFX, Revit+Environment, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. -
Internships or prior work experience as Landscape Designer or role within Construction Industry -
Hand sketching, drafting and visual communication skills -
Strong design sensibility: creativity and curiosity, research and application, including confidence in iterative concept exploration through multiple platforms -
Understanding of technical aspects of landscape architecture and associated terminology including: construction materials and processes; grading, drainage and site utility fundamentals; plant materials and State of California water use regulations -
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment. -
Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience
- Photoshop a plus
- Ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $71,000 - $83,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
