Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access awareness, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest access areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observe on-site activity, and document incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
