Pharmacist Outpatient

We are seeking a qualified and experienced pharmacist to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy operations and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacist experience required
• New Jersey State Pharmacist License required
• Request for Time Off (RTO) required at the time of submission
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Primarily evening shift from 1500 to 2300
• Holidays required (1-2 depending on contract length)
• Experience with Pyxis and carousel technology preferred but not required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Will accept first-time travelers
• Scrubs or business casual attire, any color
• Must be fully vaccinated, including COVID booster
• No floating required

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders
• Prepare sterile and hazardous medications per USP standards
• Manage controlled substances
• Complete medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education

• Perform clinical interventions
• Monitor therapy for optimal outcomes
• Provide drug information to healthcare teams and patients

RTLS Badge: If a traveler receives an RTLS badge, they will sign a facility attestation that the badge was received. Costs will apply if the badge is lost or not returned at the end of the contract, whether completed or canceled.
