Pharmacist Inpatient

This position requires an experienced pharmacist to work in an inpatient hospital setting. The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacist experience and hold a NJ State Pharmacist License.

• Primarily evening shift: 1500-2300
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call duties
• Holidays required (1-2 based on contract length)
• RTO required at time of submission

• Operational:
  
  
  
  • Review, verify, and dispense medication orders
  • Prepare sterile and hazardous medications per USP standards
  • Manage controlled substances
  • Complete medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education
  
  
  
  
• Clinical:
  
  
  
  • Perform clinical interventions
  • Monitor therapy for optimal outcomes
  • Provide drug information to healthcare teams and patients
  
  
  
  

• Experience with Pyxis and carousel technology
• Epic charting experience

• Will accept first-time traveler
• Dress code: scrubs or business casual, any color
• Must be fully vaccinated, including COVID booster
• No floating required

RTLS Badge: If a traveler receives an RTLS badge, they will sign a facility attestation. If the badge is lost or not returned at the end of the contract, either completed or canceled, the agency will be charged.
