Job Summary


The Assembler II is responsible for performing electronic assembly, repair, and testing within a production environment. This role supports multiple assembly areas and works collaboratively within a team to meet quality, productivity, and safety standards. The position requires the ability to read technical drawings, use specialized tools and equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Job Responsibilities




  • Perform electronic assembly, including surface mount and through-hole soldering and desoldering.



  • Use measuring instruments, test equipment, and hand tools such as air drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and presses.



  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing drawings.



  • Inspect components and completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.



  • Handle small and intricate components with precision and care.



  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.



  • Follow established work instructions and production procedures.



  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and productivity.



  • Collaborate with team members and report to production leadership as required.




Job Requirements




  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.



  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.



  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and basic schematics.



  • Basic computer and math skills.



  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle small components.



  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.



  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.



  • Ability to work in an environment with continuous noise and exposure to materials such as soldering fumes.



  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and protective garments.




Work Experience




  • 1 to 2 years of experience in electronic assembly or hand soldering preferred.



  • Experience in electronics manufacturing environments preferred.
