Director of Product, Frame.io

Adobe Inc.
United States, California, San Jose
345 Park Avenue (Show on map)
Apr 10, 2026
Frame.io is redefining how video is made. Over 1 million creative professionals around the world rely on us to seamlessly collaborate and bring their stories to life. You'll join a team of makers, dreamers, and problem-solvers who care deeply about the creative process. We move fast, collaborate closely, and obsess over the details that make products exceptional. As part of Adobe, you'll also have the resources, reach, and stability of one of the world's most admired software companies-while working in a product group that operates with the agility of a startup. It's the best of both worlds: the chance to shape the future of creative collaboration and to see your work adopted by millions of users globally. About the Role As a Director of Product, you will define and drive a compelling product vision that delivers exceptional value to customers and sets a high bar for product excellence. You will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for key product areas, with a focus on building intuitive, high-quality experiences powered by modern technologies, including AI.This role is not about operating a well-defined roadmap, it's about creating clarity where none exists. You will work in ambiguous spaces, rapidly test ideas, and build momentum from first principles. We're looking for a product leader who thrives in 01 environments, brings a strong point of view, and can turn incomplete ideas into meaningful, customer-loved products. What You'll Do
  • Operate with urgency and resourcefulness, making progress even with incomplete information, limited resources, or evolving direction
  • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate, using lightweight approaches to validate ideas before scaling
  • Generate original product ideas grounded in real customer problems-not just react to requests or trends. Champion a customer-obsessed approach, focusing on developing early customer champions for net new product capabilities or surfaces
  • Challenge assumptions and existing approaches, bringing fresh thinking rather than incremental improvements
  • Turn ambiguous problems into concrete opportunities, defining both the problem and the path forward
  • Synthesize signals across customers, data, and technology to spot non-obvious opportunities
  • Use AI as a building material, not just a feature-reimagining workflows and user experiences
  • Lead the development of world-class product experiences, balancing usability, performance, and innovation
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies creatively to accelerate development and unlock new product experiences
  • Make smart tradeoffs between speed and quality-knowing when to go fast vs go deep
  • Use data, experimentation, and qualitative insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the product
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of product managers, raising the bar for product thinking, execution, and craftsmanship
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Identify new opportunities for growth, including new product areas, capabilities, and strategic investments
What You Need to Succeed
  • You are known for bringing ideas, not just executing them, you love a blank canvas, question defaults and past decisions, and are comfortable getting it wrong -- and learning quickly.
  • Demonstrated experience in 01 or ambiguous product areas, not just scaling existing products
  • Evidence of creating new product directions or categories, not just optimizing within them
  • Strong bias for action-history of shipping quickly, learning, and iterating
  • Ability to work without perfect data, structure, or alignment and still drive progress
  • Experience using AI or emerging technologies in creative ways, not just integrating them
  • Excellent judgment and prioritization skills, with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with experience working across functions and organizational levels
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with a talent for aligning teams around a shared vision
  • Passion for innovation, product craftsmanship, and delivering outstanding user experiences
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust and motivate teams
Leadership Expectations
  • Lead with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and purpose
  • Inspire teams to deliver ambitious, high-impact outcomes
  • Create an inclusive, collaborative environment where diverse perspectives are valued
  • Model a commitment to continuous improvement, both for the product and the team
