SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a carpenter that will be responsible for the construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up trailers

• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements and measure dimensions

• Build decks, stairs, roofs, temporary structures, install shelves, set up tool trailers/conex's, silt fences/straw bales, and site per erosion control plan

• Hand-set forms and assemble gang forms

• Assist journeyman and foreman with shooting grades and elevations

• Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials

• Concrete and rough carpentry: hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, drywall, finish carpentry (doors, frames, hardware), millwork, cabinetry

• Work effectively and build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Professional customer service and openness to feedback

• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements

• *Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
