This position is responsible for the contract preparation and review across the organization. It combines legal acumen and risk management to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

What You Will Do:

As a Risk Management and Contracts Analyst, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Exercise independent judgment in reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring the progress of owner agreements, subcontracts, purchase orders, master agreements, and other contractual instruments across the enterprise, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to corporate policies and legal standards.

  • Identify and assess contractual risks by evaluating complex terms and conditions, supporting negotiations, and documenting final outcomes to protect the organization's financial and legal interests.

  • Serve as an advisor to internal stakeholders by providing feedback on contract interpretation, compliance, and risk-related inquiries, ensuring business decisions align with contractual and organizational requirements.

  • Prepare and modify legal and contractual documents using established templates and applying professional judgment to tailor them to specific business needs.

  • Maintain and enhance enterprise-wide contract templates, tools, and documentation standards, ensuring alignment with legal requirements, industry best practices, and organizational objectives.

  • Assist with delivery of contract-related training, guidance, and resources to internal teams, enhancing organizational understanding of contract administration, risk exposure, and compliance obligations.

  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, legal developments, and emerging issues by attending contract-related conferences and professional events, proactively incorporating new knowledge into organizational processes. Some conference attendance may be required.

  • Assist with addressing complex project-related issues and support claims and disputes to support successful project outcomes.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include (Must Haves):

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, legal or paralegal studies, or related field.

  • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in contract administration, contract management, risk management, or compliance.

  • -or-Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience (Nice to Haves):

  • Bachelor's degree in fields of study listed above.

  • Paralegal certification or other contract related certifications.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent analytical and risk-assessment skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship building capacity with internal team members at different levels in the organization as well as external partners.

  • Confident, consultative style in expressing opinions in a collaborative manner.

  • Adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications.
