Schedule: 10 or 12-hour shifts | Weekend Call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with advanced experience in complex total joint revisions and orthopedic trauma procedures. The ideal candidate is proficient in first scrubbing multi-vendor cases with minimal guidance and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* First scrub complex total joint revision cases using multiple vendor systems including Stryker, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, and Zimmer

* Operate with proficiency using the Mako robotic system and Hana table

* First assist on polytrauma orthopedic cases with minimal supervision

* Ensure adherence to high efficiency standards, including 30-minute room turnovers and supporting a 90% first case on-time start (FCOTS) rate

    * Collaborate with a tight-knit surgical team across five high-volume orthopedic ORs

      Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

      1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.
      2. License/Certifications: Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within three months of start date or at discretion of Director for positions at MMC. Certification preferred at SMHC. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
      3. Experience: One year of experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Surgical Technologist I role.
