Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Manager - Clinical Trials - Mineola.
In this role, the successful candidate's responsibilities are to support the Clinical Trials Centers day-to-day activities, maintain the payroll, employee relations, policy, and budget allocations. Initiates/coordinates resolution of problems through the Center and interacts with appropriate parties and departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains and collects earned revenue and payment information. Researches and analyzes earned revenue vs. payments received.
- Initiates payment processing for salaries, supplies and purchase orders. Year-end financial reports and correspondence. Assist in department budget preparation. Reconciles study payments.
- Maintains and collects patient visits in the Clinical Trials Management System. Reviews, prepares summaries, and verifies accuracy of patient data. Creates reports and presentations. Maintains database of key information regarding protocols, patient volume and revenue.
- Review, approves and summits purchase orders. Supports the day to day business related activities. Prepares payroll for submission. Purchase of office and clinical supplies. Purchase of office, medical and lab equipment. Maintains all office and clinical equipment. Assist Director with projects as requested.
- Informs investigators and research staff of contractual and financial progress of their clinical trials. Establish new account for new research studies.
- General administrative and financial support to other research departments. Initiates/coordinates resolution of problems.
- Approves and assists Principal Investigators with the proper use of research funds.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. 3 - 5 Years Experience in the healthcare field. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organization, leadership skills. Proficiency with computers including Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Proofreading and general editing skills.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $80,349.03 - $114,812.28 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
