As a Security Officer Access Verification in Bay Minette, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. This role includes observing activity, conducting routine patrols, and delivering strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help control authorized access to the location, including screening visitors, checking identification, and maintaining required logs and/or records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and/or emergency response channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support vehicle and delivery access activities at gates and/or designated checkpoints, helping to verify authorization for incoming and outgoing traffic in accordance with location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
