Reporting to the Project Manager, the GIS (Geographic Information System) Analyst supports the development, maintenance, and delivery of data and mapping solutions used across LTS operations. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and updating geospatial information to ensure accuracy and accessibility of data systems that support planning and decision-making. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of mapping tools and provide technical support to ensure effective integration of GIS data across operational teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate, maintain, and audit geospatial and asset data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards

  • Perform spatial analysis to support planning, asset tracking, performance reporting, and operational decision-making

  • Develop detailed maps, drawings, and visual reports to support project planning, maintenance activities, and field operations

  • Translate technical and spatial data into clear, usable formats while identifying trends, discrepancies, or anomalies that impact operations

  • Provide GIS technical support and troubleshooting for field and office teams while collaborating with project managers and superintendents to resolve data issues

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of GIS processes, tools, and workflows and maintain documentation, procedures, and user guidance materials

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience working with GIS systems and spatial data analysis, preferably in infrastructure, construction, transportation, or municipal environments

  • Demonstrated experience collecting, managing, integrating, and visualizing spatial and asset data using GIS and field data collection tools

  • Experience supporting highway maintenance, municipal infrastructure, or similar asset-based operations and field activities

  • Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, GPS, and mobile data collection technologies

  • Strong data management, spatial analysis, and quality control skills with high attention to accuracy and detail

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and mapping information and produce reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI

Work Conditions:

  • This position will have the flexibility to work from a home office with occasional travel to Ledcor offices or project sites
