Responsibilities

The Investment Associate partners with other Wealth Management employees to develop and retain high net worth clients. The Investment Associate will work closely with portfolio managers to specific create a successful client experience. They will work with Portfolio Managers in obtaining investment policy objectives and setting the right asset allocation.

They will assist with modeled strategies that require analytical and strong decision-making skills. Assist with managing risk across the book of business.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $44,700/yr. - $84,500/yr.. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities

Management of investment portfolios:

    Recommend and implement changes to the holdings and asset allocation to maintain compliance with strategies and policies.
  • Assist in ensuring assigned portfolios are managed consistently, including maintaining the proper asset allocation, portfolio rebalancing, implementing investment changes, and raising cash.
  • Assist in transitioning non-compliant portfolios to approved strategies.
  • Assist in managing account liquidity to provide for ongoing cash demands and distributions and risk management.
  • Assist in completing all special requests on assigned accounts to maintain cash needs based on client requests.
  • Assist in creating performance books for presentation to clients
  • Assist in analyzing model strategies and updating the strategies to the relevant asset allocation
  • Assist in tracking the volume of modeled investment strategies and performance
  • Assist in performing annual Reg 9 Investment reviews for assigned accounts and ensure full compliance with regulations.

Relationship management and development:

  • Partners with Wealth associates in client presentations, review of portfolio structure and investment performance reporting.
  • Prepares and presents detailed investment information that PMs will share with clients.

Team participation:

  • May provide investments thoughts to PMs and investment associates.
  • May participate in weekly Portfolio Manager meetings.
  • Work individually or with a team on assigned projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-3 years' experience working with portfolio managers
  • Strong administrative/organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with little oversight
