Testing and Quality Assurance Specialist needed for an opportunity with SOC's client to work remote (90% travel). Responsibilities Testing of equipment/systems/software installed in Airports. Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical quality assurance and control systems. Duties may include defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of client and/or company products. Worker will be sent to FAA site and will verify equipment has been delivered and then install equipment. This will be both hardware and software testing, post-install. Installing servers/racks, pulling cables, etc., and then setting up the software and completing testing. Required Qualifications 2-year degree with 5 years of experience Ability and willingness to travel (90% of the time) Familiarity with Government Systems and QA Activity Red Hat Linux Hardware or IBM ADA/C++ (to install release and test) Desired Qualifications Previous experience with FAA Air Traffic Management Programs (Like ERAM/TBFM/TFDM) Employment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: Successful completion of a background investigation, and drug urinalysis.
