This is a newly created, director-level position reporting to the EVP. The role is designed for a senior operations leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate understands how change moves through a field-based organization and can ensure adoption at scale.

This individual will chair the Operations Change Committee, lead a team of Program Managers, and serve as the primary bridge between operations leadership and the platforms, tools, and processes that support the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the operations transformation roadmap, sequencing initiatives based on business impact, resource availability, and organizational readiness.
  • Chair the Operations Change Committee, managing structured intake, prioritization, and execution of all operational initiatives.
  • Lead Program Managers through the full initiative lifecycle: requirements, build or vendor engagement, deployment, field training, adoption measurement, and long-term ownership.
  • Establish and govern a perpetual ownership model, ensuring all platforms have defined owners, active vendor management, and ongoing roadmap oversight.
  • Partner with IT, Marketing, Technical Training, Finance, HR, and regional SMEs to build and lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of operational platforms, including CRM, Power BI, AI tools, Schedule of Values, Change Order Log, Labor Tracking, Monday.com, and business planning tools.
  • Oversee the full change management lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership (EVP, SVPs) and execution teams, translating business needs into actionable plans.
  • Report regularly to the EVP and Operations Leadership Team (OLT) on initiative status, pipeline health, adoption metrics, and resource needs.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, including recruiting, developing, and retaining Program Managers.

Basic Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, project management, or change management, preferably in a field-based or construction environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading platform implementations or large-scale operational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong project management discipline with the ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience operating at a director level or as a senior individual contributor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within construction, industrial, or project-based organizations.
  • Familiarity with operational platforms and tools such as CRM systems, Power BI, and workflow management platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What Success Looks Like

  • Ownership and governance of 10+ operational platforms with long-term sustainability.
  • A fully functioning Operations Change Committee with structured intake and prioritization.
  • Continuous improvement across all platforms and processes.
  • Successful support and adoption across 38 branches through improved tools and systems.
