Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Project Coordinator - Talent Acquisition Operations & Workforce Programs (6-Month Contract)

We're looking for a Project Coordinator who thrives on bringing order to moving parts, connecting dots others might miss, and turning ideas into action. You'll be part of a team that's reimagining how we attract and engage talent at MSK - using data, technology, and curiosity to make our work smarter and more human.

In this role, you'll keep projects on track, elevate how we communicate with data, support our TA leaders, and play a key part in how MSK hires for impact.

Role Overview

  • Provide day-to-day project coordination support for Talent Acquisition Operations and Workforce Programs, ensuring work progresses without the need for constant follow-up

  • Partner with TA leadership to track and advance technology and process improvement initiatives, maintaining momentum and clear next steps

  • Serve as a point of coordination across administrative partners, helping align timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables

  • Support Workforce Programs operations through day-to-day management of youth apprenticeship and Clinical Nursing externship programs, serving as a central point of contact for students, managers, and external partners (e.g., schools, CareerWise), while tracking progress, attendance, and program milestones

  • Provide day-to-day project coordination support for Talent Acquisition Operations and Workforce Programs, ensuring work progresses without the need for constant follow-up

  • Partner with TA leadership to track and advance technology and process improvement initiatives, maintaining momentum and clear next steps

  • Serve as a point of coordination across administrative partners, helping align timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables

  • Support Workforce Programs operations through day-to-day management of youth apprenticeship and Clinical Nursing externship programs, serving as a central point of contact for students, managers, and external partners (e.g., schools, CareerWise), and tracking apprentice progress, attendance, and milestones to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience aligned with program expectations and workforce goals

  • Support vendor coordination by tracking meetings, notes, deliverables, and follow-through on action items

  • Prepare meeting recaps, project trackers, and operational documentation to keep stakeholders aligned and informed

  • Support faculty and postdoctoral recruitment postings in Workday Recruiting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across HR and departmental partners

  • Manage logistics for executive and leadership interviews, on-site and virtual events: anticipating needs and ensuring a polished, organized experience

  • Coordinate calendars for TA executives and directors, proactively prioritizing schedules and resolving conflicts

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or operational support roles

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

  • Comfortable jumping into fast-moving environments, asking questions, figuring things out quickly, and driving work forward without constant direction

  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly and operate effectively in contractor or backfill-style roles

  • Experience supporting senior leaders, executives, or complex stakeholder groups

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

  • Experience using technology, automation, or AI tools to improve workflow efficiency or organization

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday with flexibility as needed

  • Location: Hybrid with flexibility needed across MSK sites and of on-site events

  • Reporting To Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Pay Rate: 35$/hr

Pay Range: $62,600.00 - $97,100.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
