You've spent your career turning complex integrations into smooth transitions, bringing together systems, people, and processes so that what looks good on paper actually works in practice. You're comfortable with ambiguity and thrive on clarity-always looking for the next blocker, the next risk, and the next opportunity to make things seamless for everyone involved.

You know how to walk into a room of senior leaders and distill a sprawling integration plan into the three things that matter most. You're as comfortable hashing out details with IT as you are reassuring acquired managers about what comes next. You know every integration is unique, and you tailor your approach accordingly, but you never lose sight of the metrics that mean success. When things get complicated, you're the one who keeps everyone moving forward, balancing empathy for acquired teams with a laser focus on Synopsys' business goals.

You're deeply collaborative but not afraid to push for what's needed. You believe that integration is more than just a checklist-it's about building relationships, solving real problems, and leaving both Synopsys and the acquired company stronger than before.

• Leading the technical and operational integration of Ansys into Synopsys from pre-LOI planning through post-close execution, ensuring a seamless transition for all teams and functions
• Serving as the primary point of contact for Synopsys business leaders, fielding questions and resolving issues throughout the integration process
• Partnering with cross-functional teams across Product, Sales, Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance, and IT to build and execute a comprehensive integration project plan tailored to the deal
• Establishing and tracking integration metrics, drafting reports, and presenting progress and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement in Synopsys' integration playbook, incorporating lessons learned from the Ansys integration and evolving best practices for future acquisitions
• Supporting divestiture and decommissioning projects as needed, ensuring consistent risk management and control practices
• Once the Ansys integration is complete, leading integration efforts for future Synopsys acquisitions, managing and mentoring cross-functional integration teams to deliver on performance excellence and consistency

• Ensuring the successful integration of Ansys into Synopsys, realizing strategic goals and minimizing business disruption from day one
• Building trust and strong partnerships with leaders and teams across both Synopsys and Ansys, creating a model for future integrations
• Delivering integrations that meet or exceed defined metrics for success-on time, on budget, and with clear accountability
• Enhancing Synopsys' reputation for operational excellence in M&A, both internally and externally
• Creating a positive experience for acquired personnel, smoothing their transition into Synopsys' culture and processes
• Improving and standardizing integration processes, raising the bar for future deals and setting up the company for continued growth
• Identifying and mitigating risks early, ensuring compliance and business continuity throughout integration and divestiture projects

• Minimum 10 years' experience leading M&A integration projects as the overall project lead in a software company
• Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP) or significant equivalent experience managing large, complex projects
• Proven track record building relationships across functions and at all levels, including acquired company leadership
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities without losing focus
• Strong customer orientation, with a knack for making integration a positive experience for both acquired personnel and Synopsys stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as integration projects require

• You can explain a complex integration tradeoff to a VP in two sentences-without losing what matters to the business
• You spot risks and roadblocks before they become issues, and you have a plan to address them
• You build trust quickly with new teams, helping acquired leaders navigate uncertainty with transparency and empathy
• You adapt your communication style to fit your audience, whether you're in the weeds with IT or presenting to the executive team
• You thrive on collaboration, pulling together cross-functional groups and making sure everyone is moving toward the same goal
• You believe in continuous improvement and aren't afraid to refine the playbook after every deal

You'll join Synopsys' dedicated M&A Integration team, engaging from pre-LOI through post-close to deliver end-to-end integration-starting with Ansys and, after its completion, leading future Synopsys acquisitions. The team also supports divestitures as needed, working closely with leaders across the business to make every transition as smooth and effective as possible.
