Summary of Role:
The Creative Developer is responsible for creating, evolving, and governing high-quality visual and motion-based marketing experiences across broadcast, print, digital, social, and in-branch channels. This role blends strong graphic design fundamentals with advanced motion and video capabilities to bring the Brand Standards to life in dynamic, engaging ways. As a key member of the in-house creative team, this role ensures consistent, compliant, and accessible brand execution across all business units while partnering closely with marketing, digital, compliance, and external vendors to deliver creative that meets both brand guidelines and regulatory standards.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Own and evolve the Brand Standards that define the credit union and subsidiaries' use of verbal and visual identity (including logo usage, colors, visuals, grammar, tone, word usage, etc.). Ensure that all marketing materials follow these standards. Recommend enhancements or additions to the style guide, design templates, and motion standards to support evolving business needs. Perform as a creative designer for graphic design needs including but not limited to; flyers, posters, publications, direct mail pieces, brochures, out-of-home, branch merchandising, staff materials, all media and social media advertisements and visuals and other collateral as needed. Create designs, concepts, motion frameworks and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and brand esthetics. Review work from other internal divisions, agency partners and any 3rd parties to ensure that they adhere to the Brand Standards and represent a diverse staff base and membership. Oversee branding on the new websites including use of approved colors (including ADA compliance), photo selection and overall balance of page layout. Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional publications and share best practices for digital and motion ads (formats, performance, design). Maintain an awareness of Credit Union/Financial Services laws, regulations, developments and trends that affect Marketing.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or related art education and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in using Brand Standards to execute and govern standards in all aspects of marketing materials. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with advanced skills in After Effects and Premiere Pro; strong command of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience and working knowledge of web applications and technologies. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assigned projects and customer relations. Excellent oral, written and auditory communication skills and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management and client/account management.
Starting Compensation: $65,990-$80,838 annually, plus a competitive benefits package. Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
