Reporting Developer II - SAP BW/BOin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: Required Skills
- Experience developing andmaintainingSAP BW-based reports using:
- BExQuery Designer
- Analysis for Office
- SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) consuming BW queries
- Working knowledge of SAP BW data models, including:
- InfoProviders(InfoCubes, DSOs, Advanced DSOs)
- Characteristics, key figures, and hierarchies
- Hands-on experience building and enhancingBExqueries, including:
- Calculated and restricted key figures
- Query variables (single-value, range, replacement path)
- Experience creating and modifyingWebIreports, including:
- Query filters and prompts
- Basic report calculations and formatting
- Report-level variables
- Familiarity with BW process chains and report refresh schedules
- Working understanding of SAP BW on HANA reporting concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot andvalidatedata across BW queries and BOBJ reports
- Basic understanding of BW and BusinessObjects security concepts (roles, authorizations, query access)
- Experience supporting operational and management reporting for business users
- Strong analytical and communication skills to translate reporting needs into queries and reports
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Universe-based or BW-basedWebIreporting
- Familiarity with BusinessObjects folders, publications, and scheduling
- Basic understanding of BOBJ platform administration concepts (CMC awareness)

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 3 years relevant business/technical experience. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
Position Purpose:
This is a data and analytics development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the Enterprise Reporting team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream Enterprise Reporting applications. Responsible for developing requirements, solution development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise reporting solutions.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Assists with defining test conditions and comprehensive test plans.
- Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
- Performs normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions.
- Under general supervision prepares requirements, specifications, and business process maps.
- Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements.
Additional Functions:
- Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. .
- Participates in design reviews for implementation projects. .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
- Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
- Demonstrated capability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.
