Per Diem Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner - Hospital Medicine

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to work per diem with their Hospitalist group. The successful candidate will assist in the exciting opportunity to join a regional practice serving our Coastal Maine communities. Candidates will work in a very collegial atmosphere working alongside great support staff and seasoned providers. Desired Experience and Qualifications

* Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner training program with training in inpatient medicine.

* State of Maine license as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN-C) required.

* DEA Number is required.

* NCCPA or ANCC certification is required.

* BLS is required within 3 months of hire.

* ACLS is preferred within 6 months of hire.

* Training and professional background in inpatient care required. 2+ years of experience preferred.
