Security Officer Full Time Overnight

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a reliable, agile, and innovative approach to each shift.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or visitor authorization as required, and help support access control procedures for employees, guests, and/or deliveries.
• Assist with incident reports, shift logs, and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, operational needs, and/or noteworthy activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
