Security Officer TWIC Patrol

As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol in Kenner, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced transportation hub location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, support access and badge activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report maintenance or security-related concerns, and document daily observations, incidents, and/or policy violations in a clear and timely manner.
• Support a professional presence in a busy public-facing location by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with crowd management and orderly movement of people when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
