As a Security Officer Screener in Saint Rose, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help support a smooth, professional environment through screening activities, monitoring access points, and clear communication with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access screening activities, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify identification and/or credentials, and report unusual activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct screening of people, packages, and/or property in accordance with site procedures to help support authorized access and help to deter prohibited items from entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the location and perimeter, noting hazards, operational issues, and/or security-related conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
