Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of armed post responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or loading and receiving zones to help support loss prevention efforts and document security-related incidents.
• Work with store leadership, employees, customers, and/or local public responders when needed to report issues, share observations, and follow site post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
